Senior Bridal Consultant

Celebrated for combining insistence on tradition with a modern interpretation of femininity, this position offers an opportunity to work with Emilia’s beautiful bridal collection where quality holds the upmost importance. The Senior Bridal Consultant plays a vital role in communicating the desires of the client, working personally with each bride to achieve the Emilia Wickstead aesthetic for her wedding day. Working closely with Emilia and the studio team, we require an individual who is able to understand the brand image, Emilia’s vision, our quality standards and the worldwide market needs, to create a bespoke design or guide the client to the perfect dress. We are looking for someone passionate about providing an incredible service for each of our brides.

As well as managing the bridal timeline, liaising with the Production Department, the Senior Bridal Consultant will be working in collaboration with the retail team, and reporting to the Store Manager

This is a 12-month fixed term contract for maternity cover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide impeccable customer service in a luxury boutique environment
  • Hosting client appointments, taking notes to ensure all relevant information about their requirements are taken, and following up on any action points
  • Maximizing on all new sales opportunities through building client relationships
  • Manage the client’s journey from initial contact to wedding day
  • Manage bridal timeline and liaise with relevant departments internally to facilitate a seamless customer experience
  • Keep an organized fittings diary with the Retail team
  • Host bridal fittings and manage handover to production department
  • Technically support seamstresses, pattern cutter and production department
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients building brand loyalty
  • Maximizing on add-on sales and achieving maximum sales potential in line with individual and team targets
  • Assisting with day to day ready-to-wear sales in store
  • Ensure that bridal garments are cared for and visual standards meet expectations at all times

 

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • 3+ years experience working in Bridal or background in bespoke retail
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and results driven
  • A positive team player with a pro-active and self motivated attitude
  • Knowledge of garment construction/design would be beneficial
  • Industry awareness and strong knowledge of market trends

Global Wholesale Director 

The Global Wholesale Director will be responsible for the development of our wholesale distribution across all categories on a global scale. You will lead the acquisition of new strategic accounts as well as maximizing the opportunities with our current customer base. A natural leader you will direct and develop the wholesale and logistic team and be influential across all areas of Emilia Wickstead to ensure we meet our commercial targets whilst enhancing our culture. 

 

Responsibilities will include

 

Sales:

  • Create the commercial sales strategy to achieve both short term and long term commercial targets
  • Deliver new business opportunities and customers to develop our global business and enhance brand awareness 
  • Collaborate with key strategic accounts to achieve mutual sales growth via product selection
  • Provide commercial insights on the collection development including recommending capsule collections with strategic accounts to maximize turnover
  • Build and maintain commercial relationships with key industry players and accounts
  • Lead and execute the wholesale showroom each season for all categories (RTW, Accessories, Homeware, Footwear and Swimwear) across all markets (New York, London and Paris) utilizing our  brands guidelines
  • Negotiating trading terms to maximize business revenue whilst nurturing relationships
  • Create the Emilia Wickstead store and e-commerce buys per season to showcase the collection in our direct to consumer channels.
  • Carry out trainings to all relevant accounts to ensure retailer teams are aligned with the brand image and ethos
  • Create and distribute commercial assets including line sheets to support the customer journey.
  • Plan the exit stock strategy, analysing margins to maximise the company’s profitability

Analytics:

  • Create merchandising plans per season to provide guidelines to the design team on commercial skus and key fabrics per collection
  • Develop best in class sales reports on top-selling styles, fabrics, SKUs and categories both sell in and sell out
  • Prepare detailed pricing pyramids to ensure the collection meets key price points for each category 
  • Analyse the weekly sell through reports to capture current trends and provide feedback to the management team

Team:

  • Develop, motivate and recruit your direct reports leading to long term succession planning
  • Lead the wholesale and logistics teams to maximize sales potential per market and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Deliver seasonal store trainings to the members of staff 

The ideal person will have:

  • +5 years in the luxury fashion industry in a sales leadership role
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue with authenticity
  • An extensive global network within the luxury industry
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Will speak fluent English (and other languages are a plus)
  • London Fashion Week, E-commerce shoots and creative campaign experience
  • A strong understanding of the fashion production process
  • Knowledge of Zedonk and  Shopify would be a plus

Wholesale Executive

Emilia Wickstead is looking for a Wholesale  Executive to support wholesale campaigns and collection markets. The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience in a wholesale (or similar) role within the fashion industry and will have a thorough understanding of luxury retail.

Please note, this role will be predominantly based in the Emilia Wickstead office, located in West London and that travel to continental europe may be required when necessary.

Main functions include:

Sales

  • Managing and execution of showrooms in London and Paris and working closely with the VM team to ensure that the spaces look on brand.
  • Assisting the Sales Director in the recruitment and briefing of freelance sales people, models and interns when necessary.
  • Carrying out sales appointments for clients under agreed territories 
  • Compiling seasonal sales training for retail sales assistants
  • Creating linesheets, selling look books and other support material
  • Working with the Sales Director to set RRPs across EUR, GBP and USD
  • Day to day management of the existing customer base
  • Working with our logistics team to actively carry out swaps and reorders for all existing accounts
  • Assisting with the compilation of stock post-season stock counts and assembling the inventory to send back to the warehouse

Reporting and Analysis

  • Inputting orders into Zedonk, ensuring all the wholesale data is correct
  • Compiling the wholesale, regional reporting and analysis
  • Liaising with our graphic designer to ensure all packaging, documents and sales materials are on brand and maintain inventory of all materials
