Known for her ability to marry nostalgia with contemporary design, the collection reflects Emilia’s elegant vision and the handsome, wordly sensibility of her aesthetic. Focussing on a refined colour palette of dark green, white and polished silver, the range is designed for year-round entertaining and takes influence from Emilia’s formative years in Italy.
Emilia worked alongside master craftsmen to bring the collection to life. Heavy crystal water and wine vessels are hand blown in Tuscany by artisan glassmaker Giberto Venezia, designed by Emilia to have a rippled, graphic effect. After being hand blown in a special mould, the glasses are individually ground by a master grinder to create the multi-faceted shape, before being engraved with an ‘EW’ monogram.
Table linens featuring embroidered geometric mot ifs are also produced in Tuscany by Angela Wickstead. Porcelain plates, made in Limoges, France by heritage manufacturer Leglé, are glazed with the same signature geometric and solid green borders. Silver plated cutlery completes the range, hand made in small batches in Sheffield, England and engraved with the Emilia Wickstead logo.
To personalize the table, linens can be made to order in bespoke colours with optional monograms. The result is a collection made to exacting standards; items designed for life and created to stand the test of time.
